Welcome to Road Maps: Around the World Adventure!
Thank you for your interest in our digital journeys around the world! We hope that these experiences help your students learn more about the world around them.
Note: We have changed the Road Maps platform to Qualtrics, making it easier for students and teachers to access the activity. Road Maps adventures can easily be completed on a traditional desktop, laptop, tablet or smart phone with internet access.
For all of our journeys, students will virtually visit different cities and countries around the world to learn about new cultures, histories and perspectives. As they travel, students will encounter some tasks along the way. These tasks, called EXPLORATIONS and EXCURSIONS, will help them learn more about the places they visit and are required for continuing the journey.

The Geography Adventure makes up the original Road Maps activity and are suited for students in grades 5-12, or anyone interested in learning more about the world around them!
The Environmental Science Adventure is suited for middle and high school students and explore global environmental concerns, innovations and potential solutions. Each Environmental Science Journey is made up of 4 different trips, each focusing on one of the following topics: deforestation, water scarcity, climate change and alternative energy sources.
Environmental Science Adventure: Teacher's Guide
The World History Adventures are suited for middle and high schoolers and align well with AP U.S. History Standards (see Teacher's Guide). These adventures are separated into three units: Ancient World, Medieval World & Modern World. Depending on the grade level/subject you teacher, you may wish assign students to only one time period, or assign all three adventures consecutively.

The World Religions Adventure is designed for grades 6-12, or anyone who wants to learn more about religion around the world.
